I am a retired public
school teacher of German and English, living quietly with my wife
outside San Diego, California, doing full-time what I always dreamed of
doing---writing poetry of all types. Just published is a book of 2
narrative poems, the title piece "Chauncey" and "The Macs of Scotland",
the first of which concerns the establishment of the family Chauncey Mac
in 11th century Scotland and the second (700 years later) of the
immigration of 3 sons to the American Colonies on the eve of the
Revolution against England. The 3 sons become involved in fighting on
side of the Colonists under leadership of George Rogers Clark on the Western
Frontier. (the book "Chauncey" can be ordered through Booksurge).
