Autumnal Rambles Among The Scottish Mountains or Pedestrian Tourist's Friend by The Rev.
Thomas Grierson, Minister of Kirkbean (1900)
Perhaps Scotland's most remote mountain
peak as it sits very close to the point that is furthest from any
road, I headed into Fisherfield (some call this area The Great
Wilderness ) to climb three mountains and wild camping on one of the
finest summits I have visited. There maybe more remote peaks
depending on your definition but this was certainly a cracking and
demanding trip to bag three of Scotland's remotest mountains.
