Tourism Scotland - Golf
The Highlands

8th at Nairn Dunbar Golf Club It's a great base for a family break with lots of attractions to keep everyone happy.

If you love your golf then you'd be hard pressed to find such an array of wondereful courses. Nairn Golf Club with its position on the Moray Firth means it often misses the worst of the weather and golf can be enjoyed all-year round. It celebrated its centenary in 1987 and has been transformed into a course of such high standard that the 1999 Walker Cup was hosted there.

Within easy reach of Nairn are Royal Dornoch, Moray Old, Boat of Garten, Elgin and Grantown on Spey and over 20 more excellent value for money coruses within a couple of hours drive.

Nairn Dunbar is on the other side of town to the famous links and has its own centenary. With a new clubhouse, the course itself has both a links and parkland feel to it, and is a delight to play. Although challenging it's designed in such a way that all levels of golfer will enjoy its testing holes.

The 14th at Nairn Golf Club

This part of the world, with its many different golf courses. It's easy to run out of superlatives when talking about what this part of Scotland has to offer. If you're considering a holiday north of the Border then make sure you call in at Nairn. There will certainly be a warm welcome for you. And, believe me, you'll fall in love with the golf!
