My grandfather surname was Rippie, I'm told
that is Irish. My mother maiden name was Farmer, I think. My mother
was Agnes Rippie, She was born on the Isle of Bute town of Rothesay in
Scotland around 1904. I know of a Sister Jean and one named Sarah,
Brothers were William, Harold who worked on the Queen Mary, and a brother
John or Jock. Would like to know my grandfather first name, also the
first name of my grandmother. My mother left Rothesay with an
Aunt when she was sixteen. She met a family from Canada named Kent
and then came to the U.S. and worked for them as a Nanny. I would
