His father, also Henry Hutton Mc Minn, was a Bobby by occupation.
Pob...Wishaw...Scotland.
One of 8 children..4 sisters and 3 brothers. Finished school and joined
the Seaforth Highlanders
Left Scotland and immigrated to McKeesport, Pa where he worked in the
mines until he relocated to Detroit.
He worked there 'til he saved enough money to send for his 'betrothed'...Bett
They married in Toronto, Canada on July 20th,1929 and returned to Detroit
where he worked for the Ford Motor. Co.
His parents and all 3 of his brothers also immigrated to the Detroit area
while 2 sisters stayed in Scotland and 2 came to America.
He and his wife Elizabeth had 3 daughters.. Jeanie Mc Dougall, Susan
McConnell and Margaret Florence.
He was a member of the Masonic Order for many many years and worked at
Fords 'til the day he died of a heart attack on Jan 23, 1965, survived by
his wife Bet.
He left 3 daughters, 3 sons in law and 10 grandchildren at the time of his
death.
