Greetings Alastair,
As you have probably heard the Gathering was a resounding success and no
praise is too high for Martin and Rosemary MacIntyre for the amazingly hard
work they put in to bring their dream to fruition.
I was priviledged to be asked to lead the Taynuilt Highland Games procession
and to open the Games. Also I took Glenoe House for the week, which meant
that MacIntyres could visit their ancestral glen and the last event was a
hog-roast held in the courtyard of the house.
The next event is the Homecoming next year in Edinburgh and MacIntyres will
be represented there.
Best regards, Camus-na-h-Erie.
