Walk 7. The Ochil Hills, near Stirling
Scale the highest point of
the Ochils and enjoy the rewards of a great panorama.
The Ochil Hills rise sharply from the flat lands bordering the River Forth.
At their feet are attractive small towns and villages known collectively as 'the
Hillfoots'. The Ochils are characterised by rounded grassy tops divided by steep, dramatic
glens, and this walk offers magnificent panoramic views.
