Enjoy panoramic views above
the spa village of Strathpeffer.
Knock
Farrel (stone fort) is the site of an Iron Age vitrified fort which offers a wide panorama
over the surrounding area. It lies at the north end of a ridge known locally as the Cat's
Back. The original Gaelic name might have meant Ridge of the Cats, perhaps because it was
frequented by wildcats.
