At Work in
Oakland
Downtown Oakland skyline from my
office window at FMC Oakland Dialysis, located on the sixth floor of
Summit Hospital.
The view from the parking garage,
with the freeway in the background.
I stayed at the Oakland Airport Holiday
Inn Express. It was a nice room, with a little sitting area and a
microwave and refrigerator identified as a "Junior Suite." My
hotel room was listed on the bill as a view room. Well, if you tilted
your chin up you got a lovely view of the Oakland hills. But, if you
looked straight ahead you got a great view of the parking lot and
storage area of the Oakland Airplane Parts Company.
I also had a great car, thanks to FMC
North America, for all my adventures. A Chevrolet Malibu LSE. It had all
sorts of electric gizmos – windows, doors, trunk, seats, mirrors,
lights, etc. Also had a CD player, so I had to have a CD for it and
bought this great CD at, where else, but Scotland Gifts called
"Music Glasgow and Mackintosh" that I played all week long
every time and everywhere I was driving. |
