Today I visited John Wright
at Place Castle in Stirling to deliver a wee gargoyle and he kindly showed
me around...
Here is Plane Castle
And you'll note the Gargoyle has been
delivered and is making itself at home :-)
The picture on left shows what the castle used
to look like and on the right the old kitchen which has been restored
And on the right the old breasd oven
On the left is an entry point for bringing in
water into the kitchen and on the right is John Wright standing by his
portrait
I might add that the castle can be booked for
weddings and functions. They have a number of ensuite bedrooms
And a four poster bed!
And as the castle is now restored John is
working on the garden
and here is a special pose from John and his
wife and on the right a grand-daughter arrives
