Montana Forrest Fire 2000

This awesome picture was taken in the Bitterroot National Forest in
Montana on August 6, 2000, by a fire behavior analyst from Fairbanks,
Alaska by the name of John McColgan with a Digital camera. Since
he was working while he took the picture, he cannot sell or profit from
it so he should at least be recognized as the photographer of this once
in a lifetime shot.
I took this photograph today while Don and I
were visiting a city here in Saskatchewan called Moose Jaw. The
picture is of a mural that is painted on a wall in Moose Jaw.

This is a picture that someone took who
works on an oil rig. He was going to take a picture of the lightning and
was unaware of the Tornado until the lightning luminated it! Taken South
of Ft Stockton, Texas.
