We are Pipapelli, ( pronounced Pipe Uh Pelly ) and we live in Western North Carolina. We play blues and rock tunes from Robert Johnson to Led Zeppelin, with a lot of the tunes being driven by the Great Highlands Bagpipes! ....playing them sort of like a sax or les paul thru a 'wah wah' peddle. We are getting lots of radio airplay in the states and over your way in scotland, Moray Firth Radio to be exact, in Inverness, on Andy Ross' shows. and soon in australia and buenos aires, argentina.

We also incorporate the electric and acoustic guitars, native american flutes, rawhide drums and of course, bohdrans!

We play out at festivals, street parties and the like, and I play many, many weddings, services and more as a Lone Piper.

Below is the most recent photo of PIPAPELLI, performing at the July 4th street party celebration in Waynesville, NC.  Yes that is a marshall amplifier in the back and yes the pipes get run thru it at times!!  We try to have  a very familiar, yet quite eclectic sound to our tunes, always looking forward and evolving!
