Ex-Reuters, Sunday Times, The Scotsman & Glasgow Herald senior business and finance correspondent (freelance), Bill now runs his award-winning go-to trusted DigiComms Advisory-Writing/Editing Bureau out of Edinburgh, the Capital of Bonnie Scotland.

Writing extensively about how this Digital Age affects education, health, community, society - everything really - Bill is a long-standing Columnist for Institute of Directors (Scotland), Daily Business Group, Scottish Review, Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce & The Times Thunderer (very occasionally).

Also, consultant for several years overlapping on behalf of two diverse organisations Microsoft & BT. Fortunate to have travelled extensively kicking-off with COMDEX Las Vegas in the mid-1990s covering the event for Sunday Times along with a BBC crew.

Subsequently taking in Stateside and European tech/news assignments with Microsoft, Dell, Cisco plus numerous media trips stretching from Hong Kong and Nairobi to Doha.

Bill also worked for several years with Scottish Enterprise, as co-writer of the agency's Locate in Scotland & Scottish Trade International pan-European and North American promotional literature.

Other career highlights include MIT Elevator Pitch Judging experience via Edinburgh Informatics, Oxford Said Business School, Highlands & Islands, with Ken Morse (MIT Entrepreneur Center founding managing director & President Obama National Tech Advisory Council member).

Along with his Open University qualifications, Bill holds Harvardx Leadership & Reuters Digital Diplomas, National Council for Training of Journalists (NCTJ)-accredited and NUJ Life Member (yep, that old).
