Tea Break Muffins |
Last year at Christmas I baked some
muffins in pans shaped like Santa heads. You could do this for any
holiday with a pan of heart shapes, lambs, wreaths, or pumpkins. At the
hobby store, I have seen pans for almost every holiday. I put a
maraschino cherry in the pan for Santa’s nose then poured the muffin
mix over it. Each muffin was wrapped in plastic wrap, which was left
long at the top. I used a hole punch to punch a hole through the top of
a wrapper for a teabag – Bigelow tea bags come with individual
wrappers – then ran a red ribbon through the hole and tied the top of
the plastic wrap up with the red ribbon. Now I had a muffin and tea
break gift to take to those who might be having a frantic time during
the holidays – the postal clerk, the travel agent, the cashier at the
store, the bank teller, and friends in offices. |
