Oranges
Buy a dozen oranges and two packages of
corsage pins with pearls on the ends of them. Stud the oranges randomly
with the pins so the pearls show. Pile the oranges in a clear glass bowl
and place pieces of pine here and there for contrasting color. If you
wish, you may run a small set of white lights through the bowl. Cover
with cellophane and tie with a ribbon. This makes a nice hostess gift.
The oranges and pine will scent the recipient’s home throughout the
holidays.
