Afternoon Tea Basket |
 Do you have a friend you haven’t really
sat and visited with for a while but know you should? Perhaps there is a
shut-in or widow in your church you need to call on. Fix an afternoon
tea basket with two teacups and saucers, a teapot, and, if you like,
small plate of shortbread or homemade cookies, and some tea bags and
small teaspoons. Include a couple of pretty napkins as liners for the
basket. Depending on how much you want to spend, you might also like to
include a tea cozy. Tie a bow on the handle of the basket and go for a
visit. Your friend only has to supply the hot water, and she will be
prepared to offer you tea the next time you visit! |
