The link between Fallin and Throsk through fields has great views of the Forth and the surrounding hills. In medieval times the Throsk area was famous for its pottery, look out for signs of kiln waste on your walk. A circuit is possible by returning along the A905; there are several connections to this road if you want a shorter route. Starting from Fallin a path, signed for Throsk, begins at the end of Bandeath Road on the right. A short distance along, a track on the right goes back to Fallin past Drypow farmhouse. For Throsk, continue ahead and just before Alton Farm turn right onto the farm road (this road comes out onto the A905 by Fallin Parish Church, a second shortcut). To continue, turn left for 300m and follow a high fence (further along on the right there is a third short cut to the A905). Continuing over the burn to the edge of the playing field takes you to Throsk Community Centre. Or, turn left onto a narrow woodland path to emerge at Bandeath Industrial Estate. This route is also signposted from Throsk Community Centre and Bandeath Industrial Estate.
