All the
kids in Miss Bigler's dance class knew how to do ballet. Every Saturday
they went and practiced. Miss Bigler was so proud of them. Only one
student had a hard time in the class and that was Judy. Judy just
couldn't get it right no matter how hard she tried.
One
Saturday Miss Bigler sent all the other kids home after class, but asked
Judy to stay. She spent extra time with Judy, helping her. Every
Saturday after that Judy stayed late.
The day
of the big dance recital came. The other kids in the class didn't know
if Judy would be able to do her part, but Miss Bigler told them not to
worry about Judy.
That
night all the moms and dads sat in chairs waiting to watch their
children dance. Judy's mom and dad sat right in front, as Judy had asked
them to do.
The
curtain lifted and all the children danced across the stage. When it
came time for Judy to do her dance, she winked at Miss Bigler and danced
her best dance. It was perfect. Everyone clapped.
After
the recital Judy gave Miss Bigler a big hug and thanked her for helping
her learn to dance.
