 You'll need:
- Laminating sheets
- Fabric cut the size of a placemat
- Colorful autumn leaves
- Waxed paper
Choose your fabric in a color that will
highlight the brilliant color of your autumn leaves. We chose sage
green. Using a warm iron, press your autumn leaves between two pieces of
waxed paper so they are coated with the wax. Cut your laminating sheet
1/2-inch larger on all sides than your fabric piece. Place the wrong
side of your fabric against the sticky side of one laminating sheet,
leaving 1/2-inch all around. Arrange your leaves on the fabric then
carefully place the final laminating sheet, sticky side down, and smooth
over the placemat and edges. |
