Historical Tales of the Wars
of Scotland Battle of Prestonpans

army led by Charles Edward Stuart routed the professional redcoats of Sir
John Cope. It was a brief but bloody affair, and it propelled Charles on the
road towards London. His dreams would never be fulfilled however, and he was
later defeated at Culloden.
