This is a discovery close to the hearts of people like you and me with close family associations with Falkirk and Grangemouth.

I have from his 1901 published book provided the attached .jpgs and a single .pdf of the ‘tidied-up’ whole book.

He wrote in a lovely mixture of Doric, Lallans and English …. Fascinating!
