Chatham-Kent
Baldoon Settlement Bicentennial

In 2004 Sally Mahoney was involved in the Baldoon Bicentennial 1804 - 2004 and when I visited her at her business, Cork 'N Keg in Wallaceburg, she kindly let me take some photos from her scrap book of the celebrations. At the same time she also showed me the giant mural that will be going up later in September onto a building on Wallace Street, Wallaceburg which I hope to attend. I did get a sneak preview just in case I don't make it.

Many of the pictures are large due to try to make them clear enough to read some of the text so if you wish to try and read any picture just click on it to bring up a larger version.

First of all here is the 32 page brochure that was produced for the event...

And now here is the sneak preview of the mural which is in section waiting to be built on the wall on Wallace Street...

And now it was back downstairs to take some photos from the scrap book :-)

And here is Sally Mahoney who is going to show me the scrap book

And here is Sally giving me a copy of the centennial brochure and below one of the Baldoon Bicentennial badges for which many thanks
