Poetry of 2006/07 by Donna Flood
Wind Chimes

The wind chimes are a dangling.
Yes, they are a cling clangleing,
‘Neath the Crabapple tree.
Blossoms on branches so free
Which is exploding the most,
Pear, Apricot, or Red Bud at post.
Did it rain petals last night?
What a sight! what a sight!
No, it was only the wind and the rain,
While joining with spring’s refrain.
