I’m prood tae hiv worked in ‘e
shipyards,
I’m prood o’ fit I did an’ saw,
I’m prood tae hiv brocght a ship tae life,
But noo I’m sad, that it’s a’ been takken awa!
Takken awa,
Niver tae be seen again,
Like an anchor drapped an’ forever lost,
Due to a faulty link in ‘e chain.
