Rudbekia
by Terry Cochrane

RUDBEKIARUDBEKIA – Echinacea Pallida
Yellow Coneflower, Snakeroot

This is another Echinacea believed to be of lesser strength but of same value as the Purple Coneflower. It has been used by American Indians for the first stages of colds and flu to avoid catching the disease to its full extent. It is antibacterial and antiviral. This one tends to help detox the body of poisons as well; thus the name Snakeroot. It supports the lungs and liver function systems of the body.

As with Purple Coneflower, this one should not be taken for longer than 6 weeks at a time before letting the body rest from it for 3 weeks, minimum.
