Electoral Rolls
The 1887 electoral roll for the district includes Angus McKay, builder,
residing in Napier. I didn't look at any other years.
The 1894, 96, 97, and 99 electoral roles for the
Palmerston North area includes:
Luxford Samuel Watkin, Palmerston North, telegraphist, residential
Luxford Mary Jane, Awapuni, married, residential.
There was no Luxton on the 1878-80 roll near Awapuni or
Palmerston North.
