1lb of brown sugar
1 desert spoon of vinegar
2-3oz of butter
1 tablespoon of golden syrup
2 tablespoons of fresh milk
2 tablespoons of condensed milk
Optional - few drop of vanilla or almond flavouringPut
the fresh milk in a saucepan, add and melt the butter, add the sugar gradually, then the
syrup, then the vinegar. When all is boiling pour in the condensed milk. Test a little in
cold water. If it hardens remove the saucepan immediately. Pour into a greased tin and
leave until firmly set.
