4 pt. mild ale
1 tsp. grated nutmeg
1/2 c. (4 oz.) sugar
3 eggs
1 c. (1/2 pt.) Scotch whisky
1.Put mild ale into a thick saucepan
2.Add nutmeg, bring to just below boiling-point. Do not boil!
3.Stir in sugar, let it dissolve.
4.Beat eggs very well, add gradually to beer, stir all the time to avoid curdling.
5.Add whisky, heat up. Do not boil!
6.Pour liquid from saucepan into heated tankards, back and forth.
7.Serve when pouring drink back and forth enough makes it clear and sparkling.
8.Het Pint can also be made with white wine and brandy instead of ale and whisky.
