6 small fresh sweet potatoes, peeled, and cut
into "Steak Fries"
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1 stick margarine, cut into pats
1 tbsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans (optional)
Place cut potatoes in 3 qt. saucepan. Add sugars, cinnamon and pecans on top.
Place pats of margarine randomly on top. Cover with a tight fitting lid. Cook
on med. low heat, stirring ocasionally, until potatoes are fork tender (about 30 - 45
