1 zucchini
Package of saltine crackers
Grated cheese
Salt
Garlic Powder
1 Tablespoon butter
Cut the bottom side of a zucchini so you can stand it up on the
cutting board. Cut long thin slices about the same length and width as a
piece of lasagna. Put these in the largest pan you have and in enough
water to cover. Sprinkle this with salt, garlic powder, Italian seasoning
mix, and butter. Cook until tender but not mushy. Take these long strips
and place in a square casserole dish. Crush the saltine crackers inside
their package and spread over the zucchini. Sprinkle grated cheese over
this.
Place under the broiler just long enough to melt the cheese. Serve
hot. |
