Our Wedding on the 20th
December 1958 in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland. Colour was not a medium much
in use in those days especially by Commercial photographers and these were
taken around 3pm on a rapidly approaching sunset. As you can see I
was at the time an N.C.O. holding the rank of Leading Artificer In the
Royal Navy.
The Particular Picture was
taken outside the main Door to the Strathearn Hotel in, If I can remember
correctly Loughborough Road where our reception was held. It is unusual as
my wife chose a Harlequin theme instead of the traditional one of
Bridesmaids all in the same colour. |
