A tribute to Claude Henderson has
arrived at The Odom Library in Moultrie. Shown here is David Craft
of Mastercraft Photography in Moultrie, with Irene Godwin, library
manager. They are about to hang the handsome shadowbox containing
memorabilia from the late Claude Henderson, Chieftain and High
Commissioner of the Clan Henderson Society in the United States &
Canada. Mr. Craft's company made the unique piece.
Ann Henderson commissioned the display in memory of her late
husband.
Items included in the shadowbox include Claude's bonnet and
crest with his eagle feathers, his letter of appointment from the
Chief of Clan Henderson, Dr. John Henderson of Australia and
photographs.
George Henderson of Lexington, South Carolina presented the
Henderson tartan for the background of the piece.
The shadowbox is on display in The Odom Library in Moultrie.
