These are 5 books that were compiled by
Professor Murison when he was Master of
English at The Grammar School in Aberdeen. They were intended to teach the
English language, spelling and grammar and also to educate the children on
nature, history, geography, science and morality. They were produced from
1881 onwards
On the Professor Murison page (link above) we have made each of the books
available as pdf files but as we feel they are an important part of
education in Scotland we've also decided to make them available as
individual pages.
