Blind Loyalty

The sermon was being discussed and someone had suggested that there had been something in the address which the Minister had borrowed from Homer.

 
John, the Beadle, heard the remark, and as a loyal servant, immediately entered the lists in the defence of his Minister.
 
    "Havers" he soutly replied. "Ye an yir Homer! It's mair likely Homer borrowed it frae oor man!"
