Favourite Tune
Roddy was piping-daft and an enthusiastic
member of his local Piping Society. His long service and popularity
resulted in his election as Society President and an interview with the
local press.
Only the last question was a problem for
Roddy. The reporter had asked him to name his favourite pipe tune.
"A dinna ken" replied Roddy. "A like a
guid wheen o tunes."
"O just give me one" pressed the reporter.
"Weill" said Roddy "A hae aye likit 'The
Drunken Piper'."
"I asked you for your favourite pipe tune"
jested the reporter "not what you are!"
