Wi kintra flouers that
maun appear
ilka back end, tae guide a ray
O howpfu licht alang the way
Near haund an airt whyles rent wi fear.
Sic thouchts had Andra

In spite o bluid, weir, flytins sair
His buirdlie steel no aince wes lent
Tae please anither; a
man fell shair
Whit Fredome til a people meant
Nae greitin sauchs breird neist his lair.
