Campbell, Joseph

Creator of Campbell Soups, he was born in 1817 in Bridgeton, New Jersey, to James and Hannah Campbell, two strict Presbyterians. The Campbell plant at Camden, New Jersey, was at one time unquestionably the greatest industrial canning plant in the world.
