The Bard O' Buchan
Our Wee Doggie's Gone

Our wee doggie – Tara
Died 14th July 2005.

Our wee doggie’s gone away,
she died today, very peacefully,
she couldn’t walk,
she couldn’t eat,
she couldn’t stand on her four feet,
it was enough ‘Tae mak ye greet’.

Goodbye wee doggie, we’ll miss you so,
much more than you’ll ever know,
no more suffering, no more pain,
up in heaven you’ll walk again,
we’ll miss you so our wee friend.

Our wee doggie’s gone away,
it seems like she was a pup, only yesterday,
we watched her run,
we watched her grow,
but now the tears just flow and flow,
where did all the time go?

Goodbye wee doggie, we’ll miss you so,
much more than you’ll ever know,
no more suffering, no more pain,
up in heaven you’ll walk again,
we’ll miss you so our wee friend.

Our wee doggie’s passed away
and our whole world’s turned dark and grey,
we won’t walk together,
on the shore,
we won’t see her anymore,
we won’t see her anymore.

Goodbye wee doggie, we’ll miss you so,
much more than you’ll ever know,
no more suffering, no more pain,
up in heaven you’ll walk again,
we’ll miss you so our wee friend.

We’ll remember you our wee friend,
from the beginning to the end,
our memories are all so very clear,
of our little friend, we all loved so dear,
oh how we all wish she was still here.

Goodbye wee doggie, we’ll miss you so,
much more than you’ll ever know,
no more suffering, no more pain,
up in heaven you’ll walk again,
we’ll miss you so our wee friend.

Oh the anguish,
oh the pain,
we won’t see our wee dog again.
Now the tears just flow and flow,
we will all miss you so,
we’re all so sorry you had to go.

Goodbye wee doggie, we’ll miss you so,
much more than you’ll ever know,
no more suffering, no more pain,
up in heaven you’ll walk again,
goodbye to you our wee friend.
