Another year has
passed,
and the world is a different place,
will it ever be the same,
for the human race?
Can we ever again travel safely,
to a foreign land,
can we ever again trust strangers,
who casually shake us by the hand?
Even here in our own country,
we must keep a watchful eye,
we don’t want another tragedy,
we don’t want our friends to die.
September 11th,
that day I will never forget,
nor will many others,
without becoming really upset.
Yet life does go on
and people do get by,
but ‘Today we shall remember’
with a tear in our eye.
