Though we are now in his long tomorrow

See rich men through History's thick dark pages
with poor men at their beck and a' that.
Paying what they have defined as decent wages
yet poor men are still poor for a' that!
Sure, some words by Burns are hard to follow
but he still told the truth for a' that.
Though man may dream of a better tomorrow
some things won't change for a' that!
