Among the most vigorous supporters of the
campaign for Nuclear Disarmament a few years ago were Mrs Judith Heart, Mr
Norman Buchan and Mr Neil Carmichael. Now they are no longer among its
leaders. They are members of a Government which has launched two nuclear
submarines (total cost £112,000,000) and has economised by stopping the
distribution of milk in secondary schools.
