I have a presentation
revolver, given to one "Cap't McCullem" on Oct 14th, 1787, by The
Merchants of Glasgow. The case has that information engraved on a (brass?)
plaque. Inside is an 8 barrel revolver (flintlock) as well as various
tools, all of which have what is presumably heavily engraved ornate ivory
handles. There's a barrel tool, tamping tool, bullet mold and handle for
same, powder flask and a flint container. Engraved in the metal of the gun
iself is "Twigg" on one side and "London" on the other.
