Finally we were at the convention,
There was a crowd too large to mention,
With those of all nation,
My heart was won.
India, Africa, Austrailia, Japan, what fun.
Wore they their own garb of distinction.
Bright the colors and rare,
Clean and neat even their hair.
So many people from so many places,
According to teaching telling of all races.
The sessions were long and tiring,
It was the “goings” on, to be inspiring.
Speakers learned and well-bred,
Others above the water keeping their head.
Business like and orderly to transpire,
The word of truth aright, calmly, no fire.
Some think a youth can’t learn,
Of muffled stories and history’s burn.
I’m here to tell you they are wrong,
From the Nile to Eastern Gong,
With note and paper we followed along,
And then, the magnificent orchestra and song.
