These of the Straight Path
Clan,
We humbled ourselves to Great Spirit's plan.
There were those who threw it all away
We stayed gave our bodies as a stay
In order for our clear minded prayers be heard
Fearful He would not hear through us, their word.
So much, so great, the grief of all,
Run and struggling against that fall.
Today as news of this or that shattered dream,
Comes to us through note, call of mind's stream,
Great Spirit take all the weight of their times,
Those in pain, body and minds,
Through our obedience please know our love
That these can be heard at your throne above. |
