Is
this Mertie again?
"The next day was the fourth and last
day, the day of the wedding. The little nieces and cousins and nephews of
the Bloody Hands family rose early and took presents to the bride-only
these and no one else. There were three more horses led to the bride's
lodge, and other gifts, chiefly rare trader' trinkets. Those who brought
gifts on this last morning were feasted by the bride's family and were
told to carry away all that was let over from the feast." *
