Photograph of the table at Brown's Store where I had my book signing this
week-end, Arkansas City, Kansas, during the Fall Festival called Arkalalah.

Early morning activity, children's foot race.
Just as I snapped the picture of this beautiful police office the ever
present prairie wind whipped the girl's hair into her face, covering up her
good looks.
Kim, the lovely owner of Brown's store holds my book up for her photograph
This caught some of the kids literally up in the air, having fun, during the
sack race.
"Son! The works done, it's time to have fun!"
"Show us your egg for the egg toss. Ladies on the east side of the street,
gentlemen on the west!"
Gentlemen have just thrown their egg, or are in the process of throwing it.
The ladies are catching or have caught the egg.
This police officer on a bicycle begins the parade
Standing for the colors on parade
Miniature firetruck led by fireman who is throwing candy to the kids. They
are followed by the trusty
fire dog, in costume.
Spectators watch the antique fire truck on parade
The sign announces, "Arkansas City Highschool."
