Dan
Earl Flood was a rancher out of Tucson, Arizona. His range was not huge
but it was of a good size and was fine grazing land for his cattle. He
was in the service but never went over seas. Dan and his wife, Mary, had
no children. They adopted his brother Paul's son, Jackie, after Paul's
wife died.
We did not know Dan, having never met
him, but it is said he was hospitable man, one who enjoyed life. He
didn't let anyone or anything upset him. The family tells he was an
accommodating man who was always there for his neighbors if they needed
him. He was hard working and always busy.
Later in life he had a serious car
accident which left him disabled. They sold the ranch and moved into
Tucson, and this is where he lived until his death.
