Alastair's Holiday around Pitlochry
Day 15

After doing the mountain walk I thought it would be fun to do the clan trail around Loch Rannoch and take pictures at each stopping point...

Just to show you need to be aware of sheep at the side of the road.  Came across the "Forge" who also do their own Heather Honey which is excellent

Couple of shots from inside the shop... heather honey was going fast!

Two road signs on the way up to the walk

The local Store and inside view

And they do have a local fire brigade

And as I was now back at Loch Rannoch I could now start the "Clan Trail"

Clan MacDonald

The Gibet Tree (1754)

Clan Menzies

Shows my new hire car and the clearing where an old camp fire has been

Clan MacGregor

The Redcoats

Spotted some Highland cattle on the way

The MacDougall Clan

Clan Cameron

This stop is by a very old graveyard with many Camerons buried there

Clan Robertson

Clan Stewart
