Tartan Bags

For small gifts for your Clan friends, sew little bags of your tartan. Cut a piece of tartan 9 inches long by 6 1/2 inches wide. Along one of the long edges, turn down the fabric 1/4 inch and press then turn down another 1/4 inch and press. Sew this hem. Fold the material in half across the width, and stitch around the bottom and side to make your bag. Turn right side out. Into the bag, put a tea bag and small gold teaspoon (available at specialty gift shops). Tie the top up with two ribbons that coordinate with your tartan.
