Potpourri Boxes

I also have made these gold boxes and put pretty tissue paper down inside then included some cloves and bay leaves tied up in cheesecloth, several cinnamon sticks, a lemon, and an orange. Tie the box up with gold ribbon. You have a potpourri mixture for the recipient to use during the holidays to scent his/her home. They can slice the lemon and orange and put them, along with the other ingredients, into a pan of water to simmer on the stove. These pretty gold boxes with potpourri ingredients can be used as favors for a holiday party. Put one on each plate at the dinner table. They look lovely and bring wonderful compliments as your guests go to the table!
